Faith, Family & Fun

If you want to understand what drives me, it boils down to a few simple things: Faith, family, and fun! I believe in being straightforward, working hard for the people who depend on me, and enjoying the ride along the way.

My plan started with a desire to serve in the Navy as a nuclear engineer, but God had other ideas when a medical discharge cut my boot camp short. To be clear, I am not a veteran, but I wanted to serve, enlisted, and shipped to boot camp. Looking back, being discharged was a blessing in disguise. It brought me back home to marry my incredible wife in 2000 when we were just 19. Over two and a half decades later, she and my family remain my absolute priority, second only to my faith in God.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my family, enjoying a bit of Second Amendment freedom—and yes, if you see me out and about, I’m definitely carrying—or tinkering with my Ford Raptor. I never used to consider myself a "car guy," but that truck is slowly but surely turning me into one.

Over Two Decades in Finance

My professional path in the financial world began in 2005, when I learned the ropes of life and health insurance alongside my father-in-law. From there, I spent a decade in banking, which included a wild, eye-opening stint as a Realtor during the historic market crash of 2007 and 2008.

In 2018, I leaped into the mortgage industry. It wasn't an overnight success story; I spent the early days grinding—driving Uber and waiting tables to keep the lights on while building my business. That season taught me exactly what it takes to grit it out and deliver results. Today, I use that same hustle, deep industry knowledge, and banking background to help families navigate the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
